Loretta is well know as the Queen of Country Music for many outstanding reasons.  She has been performing for over four decades and has won every country music award possible, several more than once.  She is only one of five country music artists to win the Artists of the Decade Award where she was the Queen of Country Music for ten years.  Her song, album, book and award winning movie "Coal Miner's Daughter" is about the life of Loretta, her humble beginnings, and her raise to stardom.  This media includes many of the songs she has written including "Coal Miner's Daughter", probably her best known song.  Even after forty years of entertaining, Loretta still has a regular tour schedule.  Please take a look at her website and you may be surprised to see her at a venue near you.  That was the case on June 10, 2009 when she appeared on stage at the Denver Paramount Theater and Governor Ritter inducted her into our Colorado Country Music Hall of Fame.
